Yesterday was our last official day of term and we cannot believe we are here already; the class of 2022 leave us to begin their next chapter in life, some are heading to university, some (16 to be precise) already have a job to start, while others have decided a little more travelling is on the horizon for them.
We have to say, that this academic year has passed us by in the blink of an eye and it feels extra special because we have made it through an entire year teaching face-to-face without any restriction – the first for 2 years.
This years’ graduation was incredibly emotional because not only were we waving goodbye to our lovely students, but we also were saying farewell to two of our longest-standing members of staff as they head into full and part time retirement. Not only were the graduates handed their official certificates, but Sally and Sarah were also presented with flowers and tributes.
To our students,
We are beyond proud of you all, our wonderful Class of 2022, you joined us off the back of one of the most turbulent times in recent history, and some of you hadn’t even had the chance to finish A Levels, others had their gap years’ cut short. Despite these obstacles, you have all embraced being an OMBS student and taken every opportunity we have thrown at you with enthusiasm and dedication.
We are so proud of everything you have achieved this year, so from us to you – Congratulations Class of 2022, you have all graduated with flying colours!
