Keeping in touch.

It is good to see that our Alumni like to keep in touch and we are always on hand to offer help and advice and it’s great to hear everyone’s news.

We are very proud of our Alumni, whichever path they have taken. We feel sure that OMBS has given them the inspiration to follow their dreams, the courage to change direction or have the confidence to take a risk, and still enjoy a fulfilling career!

Job section

We have a job board on our Alumni Facebook group where we advertise vacancies sent to us from agencies or companies. This is a really valuable service for our current students who regularly check the board for new jobs. This is a great resource for alumni who are looking to advance their career with new roles, promotions or new challenges.

Accommodation

The group is also used to advertise rooms to rent, the majority being in London. It is lovely to see the posts of past students wanting to share with other OMBS students.

One of our Alumni Abi Caterer gives a summary of what she has been doing since graduating:

“I am a past student of Oxford Media and Business School and I graduated in 2012.  

I’ve since worked at three financial firms in London, in each instance in office management / facilities roles. My latest role is as Senior Facilities Management Specialist at Duff & Phelps in The Shard. Duff & Phelps are an international financial advisory firm with approximately 4,000 employees globally, 300 of which are in the London office. 

I manage a team of five and my role is incredibly varied. It combines working on large scale projects with the day-to-day operational running of the London office.”
