“OMBS was a fantastic alternative to university. The skills I learnt are invaluable to my job now and have allowed me to go above and beyond my role and really accelerate my career. My IT knowledge is known in the office and the marketing and business lessons we had have given me heaps of confidence in a work environment. I moved straight to London and now work as an Executive Assistant at an investment banking company in the City. “I chose to come to Oxford Media & Business School because I realised there was nothing that I wanted to study at university for 3 years. After doing my Art Foundation I felt I had entertained my creative side and I had heard about OMBS through friends and decided it would be a perfect option for me. I have always wanted to start my own business and have already started. It’s a clothing brand where I started selling second hand clothing, and I am now creating my own clothing line. I am going out to India in my  holidays to start manufacturing my new designs. I am so glad I chose to do this course as I am having the best time, and the more I study the course the more skills I realise I need to have to be an “entrepreneur”. I would recommend it to anyone, whatever you are planning on doing after the course, whether it is travelling, going straight into a job or starting your own business. “OMBS was recommended to me after I realised that uni wasn’t for me and I loved the sound of a course that would give me the skills I would need in a work place whilst also having the ‘uni experience’ of living in Oxford. “I applied to OMBS late as I did not get into university to do the course that I wanted. I was planning on using OMBS as a gap year and I was going to apply to university when I finished here. However, I am no longer going to because I have gained all the skills I need to get a great job”.

This course was exactly what I was looking for and so I made the conscious decision to withdraw my university offer.
